We have an opening for an Travel Advisor to join our team. We are located in Glencoe Ontario, but you would be working from your own home office. YOu can be located anywhere! We have regular virtual team meetings to help everyone grow their business. We encourage everyone to have a specialty that they would be working with. IE: Cruise specialist, Luxury All Inclusive Specialist, Themed Cruise Groups .... ! Our role is to help you to get started and/or to grow your business to the level that is best for you. 

We will help you set up your business, and guide you through the sales processes. We take a major role in the marketing but it is up to you to market yourself. 

You can grow your business as large as you want to.

Frequently asked questions -

1) The number one question we are asked is - "Do we get free travel?" 

Answer - Most of time it is a NO. We do get some discounts to go on supplier sponsored trips. These trips are to educate us on the cruise ships, properties and the destinations. You can also earn some extra $$ when you meet your commitments on group bookings. 

2) Do we help you with training and getting started?

Answer - YES we do. We have processes and procedures set in place that will help you get going. We have a Facebook group just for our team. We all can share our knowledge and let everyone know when we see Supplier training come up. 

3) Are there fees to join?

Answer - Yes there are fees to join and fees that need to be paid annually. Once you pay your initial fee we do have a payment plan the annual fees. These annual fees will include Errors and Omission Insurance. We can give the exact amount in our 1st discovery call.  ( It is less $600 )

4) Do I need to be certified or have to have any training before I sign up?

Answer - YES - you will need to be TICO Certified. This is Travel Industry Counsel of Ontario Certification. This counsel is in place for consumer protection in Ontario. We would help you set up for this online Education & Exam.  You would also need to complete the Travel Insurance Training through Manulife. COVID has changed everything and legal we have to present Travel Protection to all guest we are working with. 

5) Can you make money selling travel?

Answer - YES you can. Like any business you can work hard or you can work smart. Working with luxury and higher end travel will net you more. Groups is also the way to go with making more money. We can help in both these areas! You set your goal and we work with you to get this number. It is time dream big!

6) Do I set my own working hours?

Answer - YES you do. We have agents that are working full time in their business. I would say though, Most of time this is not a 9 - 5 kind of job. You are self employed so it up to you and your customers on when you work. It is up to you set your own boundaries between business and personal time. 

7) Do I have to sell travel that I don't like or do not endorse?

Answer - NO you do not. You choose who you sell to and what you sell. 

8) Are there any sales right now with COVID?

Answer - YES the sales are starting to roll in now. The vaccine is here and the clinics have started to vaccinate people. We also have many people booking out into 2022 and 2023. This is the perfect time to start as an Agent. The travel industry is bracing itself for a purge in calls once major of the people get their vaccinations. and the number of cases keep falling off. This is the time to get all your training completed with the suppliers you want to work with and to set up your business so that you can hit the ground running.
